Basketball royalty and Warriors legend Steph Curry is trading his basketball shorts for golf clubs this weekend at the American Century Championship in Lake Tahoe. After sitting out last year’s tournament due to the Paris Olympics, Curry is back and ready to swing his way to victory.

The Gold Medal Golfer Returns

Curry, who snagged the tournament championship in 2023, isn’t just approaching this competition casually. He’s bringing his signature competitive spirit from the NBA hardwood to the golf green. “Nobody ever says, ‘I play enough golf or practice enough,’” Curry quipped in an interview, showing he’s as witty off the court as he is precise on it.

More Than Just a Game

Last year, while Team USA was securing Olympic gold, Curry watched from afar as tennis star Mardy Fish claimed the ACC title. This year, he’s hungry to reclaim his golf throne and prove that his multi-sport talents aren’t just a coincidence.

Tahoe’s Hottest Celebrity Tournament

The American Century Championship isn’t just another golf tournament - it’s a star-studded event where athletes and celebrities showcase their off-season skills. And with Curry’s return, fans are guaranteed some epic moments and potentially jaw-dropping shots that’ll have everyone talking.
