The fast food Halloween arms race is heating up, and we’re here for the deliciously dramatic spectacle.
This October, major chains are unleashing their most ghoulishly creative marketing tactics, turning mundane meals into seasonal experiences that’ll make your inner child squeal with delight.
Boo Buckets Are Back
McDonald’s is leading the charge by resurrecting their iconic Boo Buckets on October 21st. These nostalgic plastic trick-or-treat containers come in five spine-tingling designs: a classic orange pumpkin, a ghostly white specter, a menacing green goblin, a blood-red zombie, and a mysterious black cat.
Competing Spooky Menus
Not to be outdone, Burger King is serving up a Monster Menu that would make Dr. Frankenstein proud. Imagine sinking your teeth into a Jack-O-Lantern Whopper on an orange bun sprinkled with black sesame seeds, or munching on Vampire Nuggets shaped like fangs and bats.
Sweet Halloween Treats
Dunkin’ is also joining the Halloween hustle with a black plastic bucket topped with a spider and their signature Munchkins. They’re doubling down with purple Spider Donuts and a Candy Bar Signature Latte that sounds like a dessert fever dream: chocolate, toffee, pretzel, and peanut butter flavors colliding in one cup.
Fast food marketing has never been this deliciously extra, and we’re totally here for this seasonal showdown.
