Drama alert in the NFL world! The annual Top 100 players list just dropped, and San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy is giving major “left out of the group chat” energy.

While five of his teammates secured spots on the prestigious ranking, Purdy found himself conspicuously absent - a shocking twist for last year’s No. 28 ranked player. The 49ers crew representing this year includes Christian McCaffrey, Nick Bosa, Trent Williams, George Kittle, and Fred Warner, but our beloved QB? Nowhere to be found.

The QB Snub Heard 'Round the Bay

The list reads like a who’s who of NFL talent, with quarterbacks from across the league making the cut. We’re talking Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen - the usual suspects. But Purdy? Crickets.

What’s the Tea?

Last year’s squad boasted nine players on the list, but 2025 saw a significant downturn. Players like Brandon Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel didn’t make the cut this time around. Could this be a post-disappointing-season shade throw? The football universe remains delightfully mysterious.

The Silver Lining

Despite the snub, Purdy remains the 49ers’ quarterback with potential for a serious comeback. Sometimes being overlooked just makes the eventual victory sweeter. Stay tuned, football fans - this story is far from over.
