Get Ready to Carb Load: The Ultimate Pizza, Bagel, and Beer Extravaganza is Hitting North Beach

Pizza event horizon

San Francisco foodies, prepare for the ultimate culinary throwdown that’ll make your taste buds dance and your waistline weep. The third annual SF Pizza, Bagel, and Beer Festival is rolling into North Beach this August, promising an epic gastronomic experience that’s basically a love letter to carbs and craft brews.

Hosted by the legendary Tony Gemignani, a 13-time World Pizza Champion whose pizzeria has been crowned the nation’s best by Forbes, this festival is not your average food event. It’s a celebration of San Francisco’s incredible food scene, bringing together over 65 local pizzerias, bagelries, and breweries for one glorious afternoon.

A Feast Like No Other

For $90, you’ll get an all-access pass to pizza paradise. We’re talking unlimited pizza and bagel samples, four beer tickets, and the chance to stuff yourself silly from 12 pm to 4 pm. Pro tip: Wear your stretchy pants.

Pizza Championship Showdown

The highlight? The second annual Ooni Pizza Championship, where pizza maestros will battle it out for culinary supremacy. Expect competitors from San Francisco and beyond, including heavy hitters like Tony’s Pizza Napoletana, Goat Hill Pizza, and even some out-of-town challengers from LA, Las Vegas, and Philly.

Supporting Local Community

Beyond the food, this festival is about giving back. Proceeds will support local organizations like the Salesian Boys & Girls Club and the North Beach Business Association. So, you’re not just eating – you’re basically doing community service.

Tickets are already on sale and historically sell out faster than avocado toast at a brunch spot. So grab your tickets, loosen your belt, and get ready for a carb-loaded adventure in the heart of North Beach on August 16th.
