When you think baseball drama can’t get any wilder, the San Francisco Bay decides to hold its own spectacle. Saturday night’s Giants versus Dodgers game took an unexpected turn when three unfortunate souls found themselves taking an unplanned swim in McCovey Cove.

San Francisco Fire Department reported that these adventurous boaters somehow managed to end up in the water, proving that maritime skills aren’t everyone’s strong suit. But fear not! The bay’s unexpected heroes, a group of kayakers and a boat sporting a Ghostbusters logo, swooped in for an epic rescue mission.

Bay Area Boating 101

Let’s be real: falling off a boat during a baseball game is not exactly the kind of home run anyone wants to achieve. While the victims were thankfully okay and quickly evaluated by paramedics, this incident serves as a cheeky reminder that water safety is no joke.

Safety First, Fun Second

The SFFD wants to drill one crucial message into every Bay Area boater’s brain: wear your life jackets. Because nothing says “I’m prepared” like being able to float instead of sink during your unexpected aquatic adventure.

So next time you’re planning a bay excursion, remember: keep your balance, hold onto your drinks, and maybe leave the daredevil stunts to the professionals, or at least to the Ghostbusters.
