• Someone calls it 'San Fran.' What's your reaction?

  I say it too! It's cute and catchy.

  I cringe internally but don't say anything.

  I politely correct them: 'It's SF or San Francisco, actually.'

  I visibly wince and immediately judge their entire existence.

• It's July. What are you wearing?

  Shorts and a t-shirt! It's summer!

  Jeans and a light jacket, just to be safe.

  Layers. Always layers. Maybe a scarf.

  A parka and boots because I know July is actually colder than January.

• Where do you take out-of-town visitors?

  Alcatraz, Pier 39, and a cable car ride!

  Golden Gate Park, Dolores Park, and my favorite taqueria.

  Lands End, Sutro Baths, and secret viewpoints of the bridge.

  Nowhere. I make them explore on their own while I work remotely from a coffee shop.

• What's your go-to burrito spot?

  Chipotle is pretty good, right?

  La Taqueria - I read it's the best on Eater SF.

  El Farolito after midnight is the only correct answer.

  I have a specific spot in each neighborhood and will fight anyone who disagrees.

• How do you feel about the fog?

  It ruins my vacation photos!
