Sleep is for the weak, but apparently, it’s also impossible if you live near Oracle Park.

The San Francisco Giants might have wrapped up their 2025 season, but their stadium’s massive floodlights didn’t get the memo. Neighbors are losing their minds over bright-as-daylight illumination that’s been blasting through their windows well past midnight.

Lights, Camera, Insomnia

Daniel Conrad, a South Beach resident, has been documenting the light pollution like a nocturnal detective. His photo evidence shows Oracle Park lit up at 11:35 pm, 1:27 am, and an eye-watering 4:31 am. Talk about commitment to visibility.

The LED Conspiracy

Interestingly, this light invasion coincides with the Giants’ installation of a new LED lighting system in 2024. Suddenly, the park isn’t just a baseball stadium, it’s apparently auditioning to be a lighthouse.

Corporate Excuses Incoming

The Giants’ legal officer, Jack Bair, offered a classic corporate non-apology, suggesting the overnight lights were just “calibration” issues. Because nothing says “we care” like flooding an entire neighborhood with stadium-grade illumination while “testing” lights.

The Port of San Francisco has already sent warning letters, but so far, the park seems more interested in keeping its lights bright than letting neighbors catch some Z’s. Stay tuned for the ongoing battle between sleepy residents and the MLB’s most luminous stadium.
