Metal Hearts Bleed: Metallica's Epic Blood Drive Will Make You a Rock Hero

1999 Bammies Walk of Fame: Metallica

Get ready to unleash your inner rockstar while potentially saving lives! Metallica is back in the Bay Area, and they’re not just bringing earth-shattering music – they’re dropping a blood donation experience that’ll make your hardcore heart melt.

Rocking for a Cause

The metal legends are teaming up with the American Red Cross for a blood drive at Levi’s Stadium that’s cooler than your average medical appointment. On June 18th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., fans can roll up their sleeves and do something seriously badass: help trauma victims, cancer patients, and folks living with sickle cell disease.

Merch That Matters

And because Metallica never does anything halfway, donors get a limited-edition Red Cross X Metallica T-shirt. That’s right – you’ll literally be wearing your heroism. Pro tip: arrive early and prepare for stadium security, because saving lives comes with a bag check.

Beyond the Stadium

Can’t make the Levi’s Stadium event? No sweat. The Red Cross Blood Donation Center in San Francisco is running a parallel drive from June 16 to 20. So whether you’re catching their “no-repeat weekend” shows with epic opening acts like Limp Bizkit and Pantera, or just want to contribute, there’s a way for every metal fan to make an impact.

Rock on, Bay Area – your blood could be the encore that saves a life!
