Hollywood heartthrob Seth Rogen is once again blessing the Bay Area with his chaotic comedic energy, turning our beloved Mission District into his personal film set. Alongside director and co-star Olivia Wilde, Rogen is shooting “The Invite,” a movie that promises to be as wild as San Francisco’s tech startup scene.

A Movie Night Gone Rogue

Picture this: a seemingly innocent date night with neighbors that spirals into a whirlwind of unexpected twists, repressed emotions, and unexplored sexuality. Sounds like a typical San Francisco house party, right? The film, which co-stars Edward Norton and Penélope Cruz, is creating quite the buzz around town.

Lights, Camera, San Francisco

From BART stations to local schools and now the iconic Make-Out Room bar, the production is leaving no stone unturned. Crew members have transformed 22nd Street and Bartlett Street into a movie-making wonderland, complete with technical equipment that probably costs more than most San Franciscans’ annual rent.

Star-Studded Street Takeover

While our intrepid local journalists couldn’t confirm a Seth Rogen sighting, the evidence of Hollywood magic is everywhere. Windows draped, streets blocked, and the entire neighborhood holding its collective breath - just another day in the city that turns everything into a potential movie set.

We’ll be eagerly waiting to see how this cinematic adventure unfolds, hoping it captures the essence of our wonderfully weird San Francisco spirit.
