Let’s talk about some seriously binge-worthy shows that are about to drop and totally hijack your weekend plans.

Queer Coming-of-Age Realness

Benito Skinner’s new series “Overcompensating” is serving up messy, hilarious queer representation that feels like your most chaotic friend’s coming out journey. Following Benny, a college freshman struggling with his sexuality, the show captures that painfully relatable experience of trying to figure out who you are while simultaneously wanting to hide from yourself.

Robot with Feelings (Yes, Really)

If you thought robots were just cold, calculating machines, Apple TV+'s “Murderbot” is here to change your mind. Alexander Skarsgård plays a Security Unit that’s low-key developing sentience while binge-watching terrible TV shows - mood, right? It’s a sci-fi series that’s less about killer robots and more about what it means to be alive and curious.

Vintage Crime Drama Vibes

“Duster” brings 70s nostalgia with a crime drama that’s part car chase, part social commentary. Featuring Josh Holloway as a getaway driver and Rachel Hilson as a badass FBI agent, this show promises to be a wild ride through a complicated historical landscape.

Weekend sorted. You’re welcome.
