Take a moment to breathe, Dub Nation; it’s not as bad as you thought!

In a recent check-up that has officially put your heart rates back in check, Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry has been confirmed to have a pelvic contusion. Yes, the diagnosis sounds as harsh as it is, but luckily for us, there is no structural damage! So, put down those panic buttons; they aren’t needed just yet.

However, Curry won’t be joining the team on their six-game adventure starting this Saturday against the Atlanta Hawks. Fear not; he’s simply sitting this one out while he gets re-evaluated Monday.

The injury occurred during the third quarter of last Thursday’s heated win against the Toronto Raptors, where Curry had a dramatic fall beneath the basket. All eyes were on Curry as he clutched his lower back in agony, cue the collective gasp from Dub Nation. But despite the pain, he managed to finish the game with a solid 17 points, shooting 6-of-8 from the field and 2-of-4 from beyond the arc. Talk about resilience!

So, what’s in store for the Warriors on their road trip? The team, headed out with a respectable record of 41-29, has been performing well and is currently nestled in the No. 6 seed in the Western Conference. They will face a few teams, Miami Heat, New Orleans Pelicans, San Antonio Spurs, Memphis Grizzlies, and the Los Angeles Lakers, before returning home with hopes of keeping the playoff dreams alive. And with the remaining schedule being touted as the fourth-easiest in the West according to Tankathon, the Warriors can afford to be cautious with their shining star.

While Curry is mending, the team will rely on fellow stars Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green, along with the rest of the squad, to step up and keep the ball rolling. It’s all about ensuring Curry returns fresh and ready when it’s tournament time!

So, here’s hoping for speedy healing, lots of teamwork, and some nail-biting basketball in the coming games while we all wait for the Chef to return to the court! Let’s raise our glasses, or health drinks, and cheer for our Dubs!
