Tech’s favorite billionaire Mark Zuckerberg just served up another cringe-worthy moment at Meta’s Connect conference, and we’re here for the delicious drama.

The event was supposed to be a grand unveiling of Meta’s latest AI-powered Ray-Ban smart glasses, but instead turned into a masterclass of tech gone hilariously wrong. During a live demo, Zuckerberg’s team faced not one, but two spectacular technological meltdowns that left the audience in stitches.

When AI Gets Confused

First up, influencer Jack Mancuso attempted to use AI to help create a steak sauce, but the glasses’ intelligence seemed more lost than a tourist in San Francisco. The AI repeatedly misunderstood his requests, causing Mancuso to awkwardly laugh and blame the Wi-Fi - because of course.

Call Fail Heard Around the Tech World

The real comedy gold came when Zuckerberg tried demonstrating a video call feature with Meta’s CTO Andrew Bosworth. Spoiler alert: the call never connected. Despite multiple attempts, Zuckerberg could only sheepishly admit, “I don’t know what happened,” while the ringtone mockingly played in the background.

The $799 smart glasses, meant to revolutionize how we interact with technology, instead became a symbol of tech hubris - proving that even billionaires can’t escape the universal experience of tech failing at the most crucial moment. At least Zuckerberg can laugh at himself… sort of.
